Data sources & coverage

Updated

USYieldHub organizes selected publicly available SEC filing facts. Source attribution means that a figure comes from a filed document; it does not mean the SEC has verified the figure or endorsed an issuer.

Sources used

The SEC’s EDGAR API documentation describes these resources. Its webmaster FAQ addresses access and reuse. Automated collection must follow the SEC’s fair-access guidance.

What coverage means

The company universe is based on the collected source listing. It is not a claim to include every US stock, ETF, preferred share, or ADR. Company financial coverage is broader than the set of detailed dividend events. A company with cash-dividend facts may have no collected payment schedule.

Coverage varies by issuer and period. A collection search beginning in a particular year does not certify a complete payment history from that year. Unknown security classifications remain unknown. Listing observation dates are not presented as listing or delisting dates.

Freshness

Pages identify filing dates and reporting periods where available. A metric date describes the calculation basis; a calculation timestamp describes when that metric was produced. Neither is a promise that every source has been rechecked at that time.

Dividend schedules can change. Follow the source link and consult current issuer and broker information before relying on a date. The website reads collected records; opening a page does not initiate a fresh request to the SEC.

Publication scope

The initial website publishes eligible SEC-derived information. Existing shared price tables are not used to publish prices or calculate yields for this site without a verified usage basis. Third-party financial analysis, proprietary ranking labels, logos, and charts are not treated as freely reusable simply because they can be viewed online.

The site is independent of the SEC and the companies referenced. Review the methodology and missing-data guide before drawing conclusions from a partial record.
